Get to know your neighbors, as they can be valuable help in keeping an eye on your property! Also, peer in your windows. Do you see any expensive electronics or other valuables sitting out? Don’t worry about redecorating your whole home, but it’s not a bad idea to get valuable items out of obvious sight from the first floor windows.
